- Project Hope/Proyecto Esperanza, situated in Pawtucket, is a satellite to the Diocese of Providence Social Ministry Secretariat. For over 30 years, the organization has served the low income and hispanic population of Blackstone Valley. Services provided include dire emergency cash assistance(rental/utilities/prescription), Immigration Services, support for mothers and pregnant women through Project Gabriel, and a civics program including English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.
